Generalization Variation 2 : Nominally ‘ Similar ’ Data

چکیده
Reproducible research is a key element of the scientific process. Re-executability of neuroimaging workflows that lead to the conclusions arrived at in the literature has not yet been sufficiently addressed and adopted by the neuroimaging community. In this paper, we document a set of procedures, which include supplemental additions to a manuscript, that unambiguously define the data, workflow, execution environment and results of a neuroimaging analysis, in order to generate a verifiable re-executable publication. Re-executability provides a starting point for examination of the generalizability and reproducibility of a given finding. This article is included in the gateway. INCF 1,2 3 4

On the generalization of Trapezoid Inequality for functions of two variables with bounded variation and applications
In this paper, a generalization of trapezoid inequality for functions of two independent variables with bounded variation and some applications are given.
متن کاملConstant effects on variants in controlled judgment data∗
This article proposes that Kroch’s (1989) Constant Rate Hypothesis—the generalization that contextual effects tend to be stable in processes of diachronic variation in production data—be extended to synchronic variation in controlled judgment data. Two recent, large-sample judgment experiments are discussed suggesting that shared contextual effects across speakers in acceptability judgments can...
متن کاملExpression of Phosphofructokinase in Skeletal Muscle Is Influenced by Genetic Variation and Associated With Insulin Sensitivity
Using an integrative approach in which genetic variation, gene expression, and clinical phenotypes are assessed in relevant tissues may help functionally characterize the contribution of genetics to disease susceptibility. We sought to identify genetic variation influencing skeletal muscle gene expression (expression quantitative trait loci [eQTLs]) as well as expression associated with measure...
متن کاملUGT1A and UGT2B genetic variation alters nicotine and nitrosamine glucuronidation in european and african american smokers.
BACKGROUND Identifying sources of variation in the nicotine and nitrosamine metabolic inactivation pathways is important to understanding the relationship between smoking and cancer risk. Numerous UGT1A and UGT2B enzymes are implicated in nicotine and nitrosamine metabolism in vitro; however, little is known about their roles in vivo. METHODS Within UGT1A1, UGT1A4, UGT1A9, UGT2B7, UGT2B10, an...
متن کاملA generalization of Clausen’s identity
Abstract The paper aims to generalize Clausen’s identity to the square of any Gauss hypergeometric function. Accordingly, solutions of the related 3rd order linear differential equation are found in terms of certain bivariate series that can reduce to 3F2 series similar to those in Clausen’s identity. The general contiguous variation of Clausen’s identity is found. The related Chaundy’s identit...
